Andrea Alario, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
Growing up in an Italian household, my relationship with food developed at an early age. I learned that food has the ability to bring people together, leave profound impacts, and can tap into emotions in a variety of ways. My passion for nutrition evolved after being diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome in my teenage years. It was through this personal challenge that I discovered food could heal the body. From that moment on, I've been inspired to help others overcome their illnesses through a more natural approach.
My education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA. After deciding to return to school to pursue a career as a Registered Dietitian, I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Foods and Nutrition from College of Saint Elizabeth in Morristown, NJ and went on to complete my dietetic internship at Rutgers School of Health Professions.
Work With Me
As a health practitioner, I successfully combine the knowledge I accumulated as an educator with the skillset I sharpened during my dietetic internship to create a well-rounded approach to nutrition counseling. I hope to help others develop a strong, positive relationship with food, allowing for natural healing from illness and long-term health.
